New Health Station for Testing Blood Pressure at Mt. Laurel YMCA is a “Huge Hit” with MembersThe Sun Papers, June 26, 2019
Deborah Heart and Lung Center, in partnership with the Mt. Laurel YMCA, recently installed a self-check blood pressure machine in the Y’s central promenade. The Mt. Laurel YMCA serves as part of the YMCA of Burlington and Camden Counties. “Our members absolutely love it,” said Sherri Gordon, the YMCA Director of Membership. Within the first month, 868 visitors checked their blood pressure; 217 checked their body mass index; and 279 users reviewed the other services offered by Deborah on the kiosk, including a heart health quiz, sleep quiz, PAD quiz, AFib quiz, and find a physician.
